The story - how it began

BBLsolutions was officially established in March 2006, but had at this time been on the way for a few years.

The story initiates in spring 2002, when Anders Peter Groenborg, Henrik Bertram Andersen and Rune Birkemose Jakobsen, colleagues at that time in the software test department at Sonofon (large danish telco), jointly spots a lack in the market of tools within software testing. The lack is not regarding any specific tool on the market, a few already exists, more definite that the existing tools has become very expensive because competition on the market is very low. These three guys therefore believes that it must be possible to do this at a lower price - still without any lack of quality nor functionalities. As believed, so to be done. A few years yet has to pass by before the first protoype of a Test Management System (later CompassTMS) is ready for sale.

During this period of time - requirement, design, development and not least testing is executed in the late hours of the evenings and weekends. In spring 2005 Anders Peter Groenborg resign from his job, wanting to spent more time working on Compass TMS and BBLsolutions instead. The first official Compass TMS release candidate hereafter sees the first light of day in autumn 2005.

After a few more month of testing, bugfixing and preparation of manuals etc., CompassTMS v2.4 is sent out for sale in the spring of 2006. The first official release of the system is a reality. The company BBLsolutions is established at the same time.
